Drevanto Beta 2 · 1.2.0-beta.2+17 · as of September 17, 2026

Release notes

Windows Build 17 is distributable to entitled signed-in testers through the existing private download flow. Its signature and automated installer checks passed; full manual acceptance remains pending. On Android, version code 18 with the large-catalog startup repair has been submitted for review on the private Founding 50 closed track and is not available yet; version code 17 remains the build selected testers can install.

Instant Estimates

  • Instant Estimate Engine handles supported common workflows deterministically instead of routing everything through an assisted flow.
  • Unusual scopes are detected and routed to the hybrid / assisted workflow rather than forced through Instant.

Trade knowledge & materials

  • Expanded Construction University coverage across more common construction workflows.
  • Canonical material library cleanup so units, names, and pricing behave consistently between jobs.

Review & margin

  • Job Ready review pass over estimates before they go out.
  • Estimate Reviewer improvements for scope gaps and quantity sanity checks.
  • Margin Guardian keeps margin visible while you build and flags underwater pricing.

Measurements

  • Measurement entry and conversion into estimate quantities is smoother and less error-prone.
  • Physical Bluetooth / LiDAR / camera device certification is still in progress.

Jobs, customers & departments

  • Customer, job, scheduling, materials, job costing, and reports workflows hardened for daily local use.
  • Job photo / media attachments are kept as local records on the device.
  • Company learning and business department views tightened up across the app.
  • Social Media Manager can compose, draft, preview, queue, and schedule locally.

Build 17 QA repairs

  • Restored menu access for equipment, labor, and other-cost libraries.
  • Centralized finite-value, range, and precision validation for money fields used by storage and calculations.
  • Invalid forms preserve entered values and show inline errors.
  • Fixed team-invitation Cancel and measurement Retry actions.
  • Added schedule-load timeout, error, and retry handling.
  • Added visible version, source, and build timestamp details in app Settings.

Build 17 verification and limitations (historical)

  • For the exact Build 17 repair commit, automated suites passed 949 app tests and 242 cloud tests with 0 failed and 0 skipped; the Windows automated workflow passed 3/3 with 0 failures. Those counts are historical Build 17 results.
  • Authenticode is Valid for publisher CN=ARMM General llc with a Microsoft timestamp, 0 signing warnings, 0 signing errors, and 4/4 automated signed-installer checks passed, including an unchanged certified payload.
  • The Build 17 manual Windows walkthrough stopped at reliable precise-value entry and inspection in Add Labor because of Windows accessibility controls. All six repairs still await full manual acceptance.
  • Physical devices and live external providers remain unverified. Purchasing Hub pricing rounding and large-import architecture decisions remain pending; Purchasing Hub and live price feeds were not implemented.
  • Historical August certification and benchmark evidence does not validate Build 17.

Build 18 Android startup repair

  • Startup previously waited on a full cloud restore of 30,385 materials with repeated catalog scans and per-row storage and link writes, so the app could appear frozen.
  • Added shared indexed identity matching across four libraries so restored records are matched without repeated full-catalog scans.
  • Unlinked material imports are now validated and written in batches of 400 instead of row by row.
  • Added a durable restore journal that preserves the exact intended links across interruptions and renames.
  • Shared asynchronous beta retry and sign-out actions now show inline errors and prevent duplicate pending actions.
  • Production Internet permission already existed; the missing Internet permission in a temporary diagnostic build was corrected. This is not a new production permission.

Build 18 verification and limitations

  • For app source commit 18d0213420917005804a8302681a713471b0542f, the full app suite passed 958 tests across 187 files with 0 failed and 0 skipped — all 832 original tests and all 949 previous app-suite tests matched and passed, with nine new regression tests added. The cloud suite passed 242 with 0 failed and 0 skipped, and all 222 original cloud test results were matched by test name against the final results: all 222 present and passed, with none missing, failed, or skipped. The Windows automated workflow passed 3 with 0 failed and 0 skipped, the analyzer reported no issues, and Android release checks passed 9 with 0 failed.
  • Android 1.2.0-beta.2+18 was built from that exact clean commit (build timestamp 2026-09-17T23:21:33Z). Bundle SHA-256 be8f9c5c20c8f2c1a9b783e2a06ba6a1574540e16cbc9e05e9887a3082f83ca2; APK SHA-256 f6a0c2d6cf851a574edea59dab48875d1334d1e5d62fe4b301354f6b25b69ea8. No direct public APK download is offered.
  • Google Play: the release "Drevanto Beta 2 — startup repair 18" validated as Ready to release with no supported-device loss and was submitted as a single change to the existing private Founding 50 closed track. The publishing overview now shows changes in review after Google quick checks finished, with no promised completion time. Managed publishing is off and unchanged. Requested rollout is 100% of that existing private track after approval; version 18 is not available yet and version code 17 remains available to selected testers.
  • Physical evidence for this repair is only the final reviewed diagnostic build on the owner's Samsung S25 Ultra: fresh-cache cloud initialization completed in 15.707 seconds and the Dashboard was visually inspected with a green cloud indicator and restored records. That is not certification of all features and not certification of a Play-installed production Build 18.
  • All six original QA repairs remain pending full manual acceptance; passing automated tests does not complete them. The latest Windows manual attempt stopped on Estimates before Equipment could be opened because automation input geometry was unavailable.
  • This repair is app-only. Cloud commit 70800e717a3a8f2dd1a974e07a08e20a59436813 remains deployed with live health reporting HTTP 200 Healthy and PostgreSQL reachable; no new cloud deployment was made and no broad physical or live-integration certification is claimed.
  • Purchasing Hub and live prices are not implemented, and those concerns are not settled. Pricing rounding still needs one shared client and cloud rule with parity coverage (client floating point versus cloud decimal, cash at two decimals, unit rates and quantities at four). Full catalog startup loading still blocks the first UI: reads need paging or delta loading, visible progress, bounded cancellation, and measured memory and network limits. Batch persistence covers unlinked material restoration only — outbound updates, already-linked updates, and other-library writes remain individual. Supplier, store, item and pack identities and explicit unavailable or stale price states still need design.
  • Historical August and September certification and benchmark evidence does not validate Build 18.
